After scoring a blockbuster movie with Arya, Stylish star Allu Arjun chose to act under the direction of VV. Vinayak for Bunny. Vinayak was in a terrific form at that time with continuos hits with Aadi, Dil and Tagore. He became a master in dealing hard hitting subjects by blending it with clean comedy.  He applied the same formula for Bunny too and became successful thus Allu Arjun scored hat trick hits with Gangotri, Arya and Bunny at the initial stages of his career. This movie is going to complete 15 glorious years very soon and lets reminisce this movie now.

Bunny movie has all the elements of a perfect family and commercial entertainer. Stylish Star Allu Arjun has come up with another engertic character and he was superb in the titular role. Prakash Raj as usual rocked with his performance in the role of Somaraju and his cat and mouse scenes with the hero worked out big time. Heroine Gowri Munjal got introduced with this movie and she looked damn beautiful as Mahalaxmi. But bad luck, she couldn't make it big even though the movie was a super success at the box office. Above all, Sarath Kumar's cameo in the flash back took this movie to next level.

Venu Madhav, MS Narayana and Raghu Babu were hilarious in the comedy scenes. Especially, MS Narayana as Sahayam and Venu Madhav as his assistant brought huge laughter. Devi Sri Prasad's music also played major role in the success of the film. Bunny title song can be heard somewhere even now.

V.V. Vinayak's story and direction, Allu Arjun's gracious acting made this movie one of the biggest hits of the year.
