Mega Power Star Ramcharan and genius director Sukumar's sensational movie Rangasthalam completed two years of its theatrical release. From March 30 2018, a new phase has started in Charan's career in terms of acting.  Let's get into the 5 things that surprised everyone with this movie.

1. Charan's Makeover as a Villager

Right from the start of his career, Ram Charan did only urban characters and for the first time in Rangasthalam, he surprised the audience in the role of Chittibabu, a deaf villager. Director Sukumar took utmost care in designing hero's makeover and indulging a different body language to him.

2. Performances of Charan and Samantha

Mega Power Star nailed as Chittibabu and he had been intact to the role he played throughout the movie. His expressions and dialogue delivery is quite unique to the movies he did before. With Rangasthalam, Ramcharan has shut millions of mouths who doubted his acting abilities. Supporting Charan, Akkineni Samantha did a commendable job as Ramlakshmi. It was one of her toughest jobs being Ramalakshmi and doing some chores that she hasn't do before. Apart from the main leads, Aadi Pinisetty and Jagapathi Babu were equally crucial in this movie. Aadi gave his finest performance as Kumar Babu and Jagapathi Babu stood as the supporting pillar in the success of this blockbuster movie. Phanindra Bhupathi will remain a cherishble role he played in his film career spanning nearly 30 years.

3. Sukumar's Extraordinary Screenplay

Director Sukumar always keeps something close to his heart to mesmerize the audience. Though, the story of Rangasthalam is regular to 90's films, but he dealt with it is quite unconventional. Not all directors can pull off this, this way.

4. DSP's Music

The product coming in DSP and Sukumar combination is always special. Starting from Arya to Rangasthalam, they never disappointed the audience. Keeping the album aside, the background score he gave is supremely stunning. DSP just gave another level of BGM for action sequences.

5. Art Work by Monika and Ramakrishna

A couple of new talent has brought out with this industry hit blockbuster. In technical aspects, the first thing that impressed people is the art work by Monika and Ramakrishna duo. They worked hard to bring out the essence of village atmosphere. Though some scenes were shot at real locations, most of the work was done by erecting village sets. For their finest work, they received some prestigious awards in the category of Best production design.
