In 2018, Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi featured '96 movie has released in Tamil and created a sensation. The audience and movie lovers were floored away while watching this pure love story. Debutant director Prem Kumar mesmerized everyone with his narrative skills. The music composition by Govind Vasantha stood as a pillar for the success of the '96 movie. Coming to the actors, Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi did towering performances in the roles of Janaki Devi and K. Ramachandran.

This cult classic is being remade in the Telugu as Jaanu starring Samantha Akkineni and Sharwanand. Prem Kumar, who directed the original, is also directing this remake. The first look and the teaser of Jaanu raised expectations on the film. The one who watched the original already also impressed with this film. Today the movie team brought the theatrical trailer of Jaanu, and everyone is dazzled by seeing it. Samantha and Sharwanand did their best to match Trisha and Vijay and did looks like they justified it.

It's really hard to re-create the match once created, but the director knows the emotions in the movie and handled perfectly. This movie was produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateshwara Creations, and the best thing he did was, doing this remake with the original director. Also, the music is done by Govind Vasantha only, who is the heart and soul of '96. Kaathale Kaathale remained one of the best songs in a decade, and Govind gave his best even in Telugu. Already, Oohale Oohale song is going viral over the internet.

Jaanu movie is all set and ready to release on the 7th of February. Let's hope that this movie also remains a classic in Telugu like '96 in Tamil.
