From the last 4 years, Tollywood has reached some heights and milestones if it hadn't happened in the first place. Thanks to Baahubali for creating such a space for the next generations to dream big. The next big thing after Baahubali is our Directors are making films in Hindi. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Deva Katta, Gowtham Tinnanuri and now Bhagamathie director Ashok is remaking it in Hindi. Today let us analyze the strategy of Hindi makers of picking Telugu directors and how our director is doing in Pan India with stardom, controversies.

1. Sandeep Reddy Vanga: The man behind the mania who delivered a path-breaking movie in Tollywood after Ram Gopal Varma's Shiva, Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Sandeep's Arjun Reddy made Vijay Devarakonda an overnight star. This was enough to show the stamina of Sandeep but repeating the same impact in Pan India was never imagined by anybody. Kabir Singh was sensational throughout the country bagging 270 crores at the box office. A lot of controversies revolve around Kabir Singh, Critics were mad about the misogyny, substance abuse and so on but Sandeep Reddy gave a befitting reply to all the critics without any hesitation about his movie. This made us all proud that our Telugu guy is owning Bollywood bullys. And now he likes to stay in Bollywood and make a movie in that industry that will be sad for our Telugu audience who won't watch Hindi movies. I hope he does movies in both languages and gives us products like Arjun Reddy.

2. Deva Katta: Prasthanam is one of the most critically acclaimed movies of our generation. Deva Katta received Filmfare South Critics Award for Best Film. Everybody loved Sai Kumar's role as  Ketti Lokanatham Naidu. The movie didn't make much at the box office but Prasthanam paved a path to Dev Katta to remake it in Hindi starring Sanjay Datt in Sai Kumar's role. Unfortunately, it didn't please Hindi audience but it pleased critics. Let us hope he gets another chance to prove himself.

3. Gowtham Tinnanuri: The story of a failed cricketer who won't give up until his last breath was loved by the audience very much that it got a call from Bollywood to make it once more with Shahid Kapoor as a lead. Gowtham Tinnanuri pen down Jersey was so beautifully that brought back Natural Star Nani's charisma back. Though Gowtham only had two feature films in his filmography both of them had a great impact in Telugu audience Malli Raava was a cult love story and Jersey was one of a kind. Let us hope just like Sandeep he recreates the magic again.

4. G. Ashok: Anushka's acting in Bhagamathie was quintessential, the way she portrayed Chanchala and Bhagamathie brought back memories of Arundhati. After Pilla Zamindar, Ashok received blockbuster with this movie. Director Ashok surprised not only us Telugu audience but also Hindi producers who want him to remake Bhagamathie in Hindi. Titled as Durgavati starring Dum Laga Ke Haisha fame Bhumi Pednekar. Akshay Kumar is presenting the movie. Let us hope Bhagamathie recreate its magic.

These are a few directors who are getting offers from Bollywood. Our content is finally getting an appreciation of what it deserves. This is a good sign for business and also for good films. These calls from Bollywood will encourage new film aspirants to dream big. Looking forward to more directors to work with a bigger audience.
